Since beginning my career as a web and app developer 20+ years ago, I've created my own reusable app shell, worked both remotely and locally for powersports and marketing companies, written software to help fuel wireless architecture in Africa, created digital products for the medical industry, and helped create e-commerce applications for industry sales companies.

Singular Engine

Singular Engine is a prototype application shell that allows a single code base to drive a webpage, a mobile app, and even desktop apps, across various platforms and screen sizes. It uses standard web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for cross-platform development. The goal of the software is to see how far the standard can be pushed to deliver a simple and single experience to as many devices and browsers as possible while maintaining a high level of quality on each.

  • Developed several Android applications to complement various product lines; consulted and contributed on counterpart iOS versions.
  • Led efforts for front end development of all web properties and applications, including mobile and desktop versions, across 7 separate company divisions.
  • Achieved improved website compatibility among all browsers via standards adherence and modern progressive enhancement methodologies.
  • Replaced flash-based applications with JavaScript/CSS/HTML5 controls to increase website compatibility on desktop and mobile, reduce load times, and increase code reusability.
